Este perfil restringe o recurso Media (que é uma especialização do perfil Observation). Este recurso trata de uma foto, vídeo ou gravação de áudio adquirida ou utilizada na área da saúde. O conteúdo real pode estar embutido ou fornecido por referência direta.

Escopo/Uso

O recurso Mídia contém fotos, vídeos e gravações de áudio. É utilizado com mídias adquiridas ou utilizadas como parte do processo de saúde. Aqui estão alguns usos típicos:

• Fotos e vídeos de procedimentos de diagnóstico ou prestação de cuidados para fins de registro
• Imagens contidas em relatórios de diagnóstico

Este recurso captura um tipo específico de Observation – um Observation cujo valor são dados de áudio, vídeo ou imagem. Este recurso é a representação preferida de tais formas de informação, pois expõe os metadados relevantes para a interpretação da informação. No entanto, em alguns ambientes legados, as informações de mídia podem aparecer ocasionalmente em recursos Observation. Os sistemas devem estar cientes desta possibilidade.

O recurso Mídia é capaz de conter imagens médicas em formato DICOM. Essas imagens também podem ser disponibilizadas por meio de um recurso ImagingStudy, que fornece uma referência direta da imagem a um servidor WADO-RS.

Para tais imagens, a estrutura WADO-RS é um método preferido para representar as imagens - o serviço WADO-RS pode incluir a renderização da imagem com anotações e parâmetros de exibição de um estado de apresentação DICOM associado, por exemplo.

Por outro lado, o recurso de mídia permite uma transferência robusta de uma imagem através de fronteiras onde o serviço WADO-RS não está disponível. Por esse motivo, imagens médicas também podem ser representadas em um recurso de mídia, mas o Media.content.url deve fornecer uma referência a um serviço WADO-RS de origem para a imagem.

Uso indevido

Este recurso não deve ser utilizado para representar observações de mídia que não estejam relacionadas ao IPS.

Caso de uso

Usado para registrar as observações finais, com status “completed”, em formato de mídia (fotos, vídeos ou gravações de áudio) nos perfis ObservationResultsLaboratoryBRIPS e ObservationResultsRadiologyBRIPS.

Até o momento, maio de 2024, a RNDS não coleta estas informações. Quando houver dados na RNDS o mapa de estrutura será incluído neste perfil.

Fronteiras e Relacionamentos

O recurso MediaObservationBRIPS deve ser usado para captura um tipo específico de observação cujo valor são dados de áudio, vídeo ou imagem. Este recurso é utilizado no lugar da ObservationResultsBRIPS para representar tais formas de informação, pois expõe os metadados relevantes para a interpretação da informação. No caso do registro de imagens e informações associadas sobre um estudo de imagem DICOM e as séries e objetos de imagem desse estudo, o recurso ImagingStudyBRIPS deve ser utilizado, pois ele fornece uma referência direta da imagem a um servidor WADO-RS.
